Got the old TTT server fired up and alive once again. I'm sure nothing bad will come of this.

I haven't delved too deeply into that modding market but is it even possible to convert a 4-USB fat model's RSX to a more modern 40mm without botching everything in the process?

Main page: here

Another one that isn't mine and isn't really a hack more than it is built from scratch on the GBA and other platforms but it's one I mentioned in the Discord earlier in the week and figured I'd copy and paste it over here. This was one that I found when I was looking for GBA homebrews and it's easily one of the best I've seen.

If you've played Tetris, you almost certainly know what you're looking at. I've been following this project for a little over a year now and it keeps getting better as time goes on but, as it is now, you're still getting a very full package with some bounds of customization.

Looks real chic on the actual thing too.

Just a heads up, your link triggers GC's 'insecure download' mentions and your Github 404's.

...The big mode demonstration it shows on it's main page has me very intrigued lol.

You might want to peruse their Discord. Especially the #high-scores area. Shows off human ingenuity at its finest, including people who have played through Big Mode.

Edit: Replaced the song with another one, as this is better suited for first time listeners.

Redout got a lot of good stuff out of its influences from other AG titles like WipeOut and the like. I just wish 2 would've gone better but it kind of fell through for me. That and no one in my circles of friends are into AG racers all that much so sharing it kinda sucks.

Speaking of, that's a good segue:

Stanton Warriors. Actually, the entire HD/Fury/Pulse OST is worth a look.

One that's used at the office on a daily basis is Mattrizzle and eskayelle's 2K22 edition of NBA Jam TE. My boss, who's nearing 70, cannot get away from getting a game out of me once daily in the afternoon on the SNES Classic before I head home from the job. He's not much of a gamer, but he sure appreciates the modern day aspect of an otherwise old game nonetheless with the roster updates and the engine optimizations.

I'm really hoping there's another update at some point, that said.

Typing with two thumbs on my phone doesn't feel very comfortable. I prefer to grip the phone with my left hand and type with the right.

I literally cannot do two thumbs. Not because I lack a digit, but because I have not the dexterity to do such a thing. I am at the mercy of swiping and that is verrry touchy, to say the least. I've gotten somewhat better at it, over time, but it's one of those situations where I scoff at the dictionary/suggestion pool sometimes going 'when do I EVER use that word?' and getting marginally pissed about it.

See and that's more or less what I assumed. I don't even want to de-lid processors in PCs, let alone my PS3 so I can't imagine the strain necessary to do something like that.

I mean, if I had nothing to lose and didn't care, I'd give it a shot, but the PS3 line is already drying up over time as it is due to its flawed architecture. I'll just go with what I have.

I have not bothered to get into the mobile titles, such as that or Akatsuki, mostly because I'm already hard-pressed with the one or two I put time into anyways. I do appreciate, just like with all gacha titles, the sheer amount of art we get out of it, though.

...Mario Adventure 3
Creator: ScarlettVixen

The creator of the iconic Mario Adventure is working on an ambitious SMB3 hack which basically will change about everything about the original game. New moves, levels, an unique XP system and so much more!

Now that is a name I have not heard in a long time. A long time.

Considering its release date is supposedly today I might have to take a look and see if they upload on their page soon. Haven't talked to DD/Scarlett in years. Might just have to say hello.

If you're the domain admin, you can get a free https cert through Let's Encrypt, and they have an auto updater script for your cert and everything you can use. It's great.

Can confirm. I use that for my own domain. Works perfect.

Was listening to The Fragile by Nine Inch Nails, yesterday was the 25th anniversary of the album's release. Still feels like it came out yesterday to me.

I still have to take it under consideration that Pretty Hate Machine and, by extension, Head Like a Hole was 35 years ago. That I was alive for it makes me feel old and decrepit.

Well, add Riichi City to the list of Mahjong clients we use. Max laid claim to the first Yakuman.

Then I'm doing FF6 and FF7.

Fate: Grand Order, Arknights, Touhou LostWord, Pokemon Masters EX, Disgaea RPG, Mahjong Soul, Riichi City. In that order. Survivors are Arknights (3 years straight), Mahjong Soul and Riichi City (about a month).

Arknights is easily the winner in the entirety. Although I place Ling in the front here, the reality is I have a much better crew in the back. Not to mention my super maxed out Ch'en.

FGO died due to Aniplex being a greed factor with their gacha system. Arknights, by comparison, is way more tolerable. The problem is the gameplay is significantly more chaotic and most certainly not for everyone. You will fail a lot in the game.

The others fell out due to disinterest or drying up entirely. Disgaea RPG hurt. I love that series.

...Before you quit FGO, did you manage to snag an Ishtar and/or Ereshkigal on your way out? :)

Both. Ishtar I had nearly maxed but not for copies. I left before Space Ishtar was a thing. My primary focus, however, was Nero. By and large a fan, even though the Rin-types are obvious for myself.

Forgot to mention but, years before, PangYa most certainly qualified. If FGO was horrible, PangYa was faaaaaaaaaar worse. Very good game, though. Mercifully, it's now relegated to private servers.

It's definitely a sit-down casual thing. One hole may take four players about 10 minutes to play through.

Oh.

And it shouldn't surprise you to learn that this is totally modify-able.

Meme reference.
