The games I've been currently playing on the PlayStation are Darkstalkers, Brave Prove, Team Buddies and Tomorrow Never Dies. Hours later, I spent a moderate portion of my time on the Nintendo 64 with games like Banjo-Kazooie, GoldenEye 007, and Star Fox 64.

What's more, my neighbour was attempting to build an Americanised version of the 64DD add-on.

Your neighbor is cool. Hope they succeed!

Currently I'm between games, just occasionally logging into Langrisser Mobile for dailies, guild duties and stacking up some crystals for later limited time events. I'm mostly just play-testing my Kirby's Adventure hack as I work on it. There's been some strong recommendations to me to play Tales of the Abyss so I grabbed a PS2 copy and I may as well make that my next big play, going in totally blind, since I'm going to have a few weeks off and room to play something that isn't handheld for a change.

Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties for PS2, just to see if it's as good as I remember. I can't say it's as good as I remember, thought I can't say it's a bad game either. Rune Factory 4 Special which is my number one game of all time. Fields of Mistria, which is a new farming sim game in early access, and it's quite polished from what I've played. And Ecks vs Sever, a decent FPS for the Game Boy Advance, though the later levels are punishingly difficult (still stuck on mission 11 as Ecks...).

I'm planning to give Mario Forever a play to see if THAT game is as good as I remember (it's such a classic fan game).

@ supersonicjc I haven't played any Mega Man on sega, but I may have to change that soon. Having all Mega Man games on the genesis would be awesome!

We're more than halfway there so far. Mega Man 1-3 are in Wily Wars, Mega Man 4 is in The Sequel Wars. Mega Man 5 is in the works. :D

Splatoon 3 keeps pulling me in when there's events going on, especially since those are about to be finished. But other than that I've been trying to revisit the GameCube, so I've been playing stuff like Wario World that I missed out on as a kid.

Check out my site! It's got a bunch of projects I've worked on, including homebrew and a virtual world about collaborative map building that's RP focused.

I've been having fun with tModLoader recently (modded Terraria). Just playing with a few quality of life like Boss Cursor (points to where offscreen the boss is), Boss Checklist which reminds you which ones you've fought, Recipe Browser which lets you search for crafting trees and such, and Magic Storage which is a really complicated way to consolidate crafting.

Really wish there was a modded item that let you play as a fox, like the wolf necklace.

I've been playing SM64 Co-op DX with my friends, just mostly goofing around and doing funny things like break some hacks wide open with Peach and Daisy, or use funny character mods like Neco Arc.

My next hack to play on SM64 Co-op DX is Super Mario 74. Can't wait to break that game wide open.

Mahjong. Quite a bit. For better or worse.

I have been going through a few others things, too. I did get Trails Through Daybreak done yesterday and there's been a few other things I've been messing with when I get the time to do so. Mostly Fightcade related.

Of special note, I actually got sub-1 in Sprint on Tetris a couple weeks back.

Damn, nice! Congrats! Hitting new milestones in Tetris always feels amazing. I kinda wish I still cared about guideline stuff tho, because last I knew I was less than half a second off sub 50s myself on Tetr.io, but alas, TGM has captured my heart and I'm simply not fast enough, in brain or hands, to be GM worthy in the sequels.

Thanks. I worked on that one way too long. I really should go back to Tetr.io and give it a shot one day to see if I can bring my old 1:12 down to something closer to what I get in Apo. I do have a better response monitor for it now so it might not be a bad thing to try eventually.

Playthrough of Contra. Very casually (23/30 lives left).

I just started a co-op on Super Mario 74. Already blazed through the first 90 stars of that hack. Gonna finish the rest on the next time I arrange a play session with my friends. Can't wait to break Luminium-Sphere and Ombru-Sphere wide open, lol. Those 2 levels gave me fits when I first played.

Well, add Riichi City to the list of Mahjong clients we use. Max laid claim to the first Yakuman.

Thank you Oz74. Because you reminded me to get on Langrisser Mobile, I've been back to playing it now. I've gotten off my lazy bum and did Time Rift 14-1 through 14-7. It was about time. I had long neglected those.

Also roided up my Altina too, so she's back to being top 10 overall power. Not that this really matters, that's mostly just as a flex, lol.

I'm always playing a little bit of a small variety of games, honestly, but the ones I'm mostly focused on right now are:

Chrono Trigger (PS1) with emulator enhancements to cut the load times to almost nothing (3x disc speed, 3x seek speed in DuckStation), with RetroAchievements.

If it weren't for the load times, it'd probably be the definitive "SNES-style" version. I own it physically though, because it's the cheapest physical CT copy you can get still. It's a little easier to handle on a PS2 with Fast Disc Speed mode if playing physically.

Chrono Cross - Radical Dreamers Edition (Steam PC). The speedup toggle on a standard NG playthrough is too good, and RDE's been patched to fix the frame rate issues ingame.

I'm also playing Chrono Cross right now (after beating CT), currently at the part with the ghost ship. I'm playing it on my PS2 and not the PC version though; having a CRT really makes any AI upscaling unnecessary.

Chrono Trigger on DS has all the extra content and anime cutscenes with none of the load time.

I just finished Super Mario 74 on Co-op DX with my friends. Well, more or less finished. There's 2 overworld stars left and a star in Course 1 that I completely forgot about that I'll just finish offstream. Getting the hidden Star 151 was completely ridiculous, and Luminium-Sphere and Ombru-Sphere were so incredibly oppressive, that I felt justified in never finishing this game when it first came out. If I didnt have my friends as respawn points, I'm not sure I'd ever finish the hack. Having to die and start the level from scratch every single time doesn't sound like fun, especially when you have to do precise jumps to get to where you last were before.

If you haven't played Super Mario 74, and you plan on playing it, and you're at the skill level of an average SM64 player, then play it with save states. Save yourself the grief.

I'll be trying Mario Builder 64 next. My Everdrive 64 X7 just arrived, and I've been wanting to mess with that game for a bit for a while now.
