I'm looking over the site for a place to submit hacks, and unless I'm blind, I assume that it's not ready yet?

Probably. There hasn't been any hacks added to the site yet other than the ones carried over from RHDN.

Hi everyone,

I released a hack for Final Fight 2 that does some minor improvements for it, you can check it out here: https://neoromhacking.net/hackpage.php?id=5464

I would like to further my improvement hack by getting both international versions decensored, but I need help on that, because I don't have the skills to restore the content.

That's why I'm looking for a SNES hacking expert that can help me on restoring this stuff back to those versions:

Restore the blood.
Restore Mary & Eliza.
Restore Won Won's cleaver.
Restore Freddie's death scream from the Japanese version.
Restore the original background graphics for stages one, two and five. You can learn more about it here: http://rq87.flyingomelette.com/FF/F/2/reg.html
Lower the HP of all the enemies and bosses.
The ability to see the ending on any difficulty.

If someone can help me on this, that would be great.

Is there a 2-player hack for the first Final Fight on SNES?

Probably the revision to the PS3 if only for the fact that the old fat was largely prone to overheat failures. Those old GT 7800 90mm's were notorious for failures and ran hot. I've got a PS3 fat that I saved, dropped firmware on, re-greased and everything and it's one of those I have to run with the fans at about half because of just how hot it gets...except in my case it's the CPU that's got runaway heat. It really is one of those that qualify for de-lidding but I'm afraid of breaking it so I just run it under 75C before the fans really kick in and pray for the best. It mostly accomplishes this so long as I don't do PS2 emulation. Once I do that, then it really starts to kick in.

Plus side is if I need that I have a PS2 slim that I have modded that I could just do with instead through ethernet. Not the fastest ethernet, granted, but it does the job better than USB 1.1 on the front for front-loading a bunch of ISOs.

Mine burnt out just playing and completing Kingdom Hearts 2.

I'm always playing a little bit of a small variety of games, honestly, but the ones I'm mostly focused on right now are:

Chrono Trigger (PS1) with emulator enhancements to cut the load times to almost nothing (3x disc speed, 3x seek speed in DuckStation), with RetroAchievements.

If it weren't for the load times, it'd probably be the definitive "SNES-style" version. I own it physically though, because it's the cheapest physical CT copy you can get still. It's a little easier to handle on a PS2 with Fast Disc Speed mode if playing physically.

Chrono Cross - Radical Dreamers Edition (Steam PC). The speedup toggle on a standard NG playthrough is too good, and RDE's been patched to fix the frame rate issues ingame.

I'm also playing Chrono Cross right now (after beating CT), currently at the part with the ghost ship. I'm playing it on my PS2 and not the PC version though; having a CRT really makes any AI upscaling unnecessary.

Chrono Trigger on DS has all the extra content and anime cutscenes with none of the load time.

Nintendo is going to go after emulators for current hardware. That's just asking for it.

I have been enjoying this game for a while now because of all the mods. There's a wiki dedicated just to archiving all the different racers you can play as. I managed to track down a bunch of Sonic SatAM, AOSTH, and Underground characters as well as Sam and Max, anime characters, Sega characters, Nintendo, Capcom, Konami, Nickelodeon, ect. It's like Mario Kart but BETTER. The different tracks are cool too. There's even an entire pack of tracks based on Pizza Tower!

At the same time Palworld is clearly a bootleg, not a fangame. It's Pokemon Fortnite and it's charging full price for it. That's using Pokemon designs and gameplay elements to get money. Nintendo has every reason to strike them down. This isn't a fangame or a romhack situation. It sure as hell isn't about preservation either. That's what emulation is for and emulation is free. When the person is charging money for the roms or the emulator, that's usually what alerts companies like Nintendo to come after them. It's not like when someone comes up with a similar idea and wants to make an omage but it's still it's own thing. Palworld is Pokemon with guns.

No, so much wrong here. bootleg is basically a romhack and based on the original game, so clearly this is not what happened here. Palworld uses original monster designs and does not use any of existing designs from Pokemon. Proof is that Nintendo didn't do any copyright strike for stealing Pokemon designs.

The patent system for gameplay elements is borked and hinders innovation in the gaming industry. You should not celebrate that in my opinion. It is remain to see what actual patent infringement here is, because we don't know yet. And no, Palworld is not Pokemon with guns, its a complete different genre and has nothing to do with Pokemon.

There's such a thing as bootleg merch, toys, clothing, ect. If Palworld were allowed to continue, you'd have knock off plushies ect.

Yes, 7th saga looks and plays like Phantasy Star games. I plan on adding some of the Phantasy Star enemies to 7th saga.

I like that idea.
