Congratz to the the change, and welcome back. I'ts back again. The only "issue" I had was the forum was offline for an entire day (from my perspective). But seems to be okay for now. |

You know what would be cool? A YouTube playlist with these tracks. The playlist name could be called "Neo Romhacking.net Soundtrack".^^ |

Posted by The Evil Vampony Yeah, that's a bit more involved than just adding to a playlist. Would require converting and uploading. Or it would be left out and later a "Director's Cut" could be introduced. ;-p Posted by The Evil Vampony Nice. |

I just learned we can collaborate on YouTube playlists with other users, by inviting them. For now I will add those tracks to a private playlist and automate download conversion to audio files with yt-dlp. :-). Maybe I'll share, but the problem is that I cannot guarantee long term support (as I'm not the biggest Google fan at all). |

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest was the first RPG I played. We didn't have much in Europe/Germany, renamed to "Mystic Quest Legend" here without the Final Fantasy connection. So its one of the first RPGs that hit us as an introduction to the genre and was (unlike most games back then) fully translated.
I never had played a game like that before and it was fascinating and the start of a new love, including soundtracks. This game and its soundtrack has a special place in my heart. |

This is already planned or in the works, as outlined in the thread Currently Unimplemented (and planned) Features:
I think this is meant to be an attachment, rather than directly integrating images to the post. I don't know about the forum infrastructure and costs, but having at least under 1mb or even 500kb for small images would be a huge improvement. Maybe after a certain level or user account/profile the limit could get higher, just thinking out loud. How to upload and bind images from Imgur Until then, I recommend to use a third party site to upload images to and bind them here in the forum directly. In example https://imgur.com/upload let you upload images at no cost directly at very high resolutions if you want, without deleting them ever. After upload, click the 3 dots [...] > Get share links and Copy Link to get the image link in BBCode (Forums) format. ![]() ![]() Now you just come back to this forum and paste the link that looks like this:
![]() Make sure the images stay small in filesize, because unlike attachments these images are loaded for every user and can make the post slower to open. This is just my personal recommendation. |

The randomly appearing sprites are fun. There was times when I saw a sprite too late after I clicked a link. Using the browser back function will still show the sprite, but I'm not sure if clicking it would collect it. Never checked it actually. Otherwise this has no meaning at the moment and is just a fun little gimmick.
Do you care to collect those sprites by clicking it? How many do you have? There is no total count number, but its easy to count yourself. Open My sprites and show source with right mouse click "View Page Source" (at least in Firefox). Here we just use the search functionality of the browser with CTRL+f. Type in search field
![]() I got 131. |

1. The page you were on (get it from the URL)
This seems to be affecting all post content. I will demonstrate this in this post, therefore no other URL is needed. 2. What you were trying to do when the bug occurred I was writing a normal post with code. This is reproducible. A single double quote after src= will be displayed as twice. Code that is written as src="path" will be displayed as src=""path like in
3. What the screen looks like (is it white, partially rendered, etc) The single double quote " is displayed as double double quote "" in specific circumstance as described above. 0. My personal note I understand this might be a by product of sensitization. But it is wrong in my other post and can lead to confusion. I also noticed it can appear in other cases like after a circumflex character src="`" , so its not just in code blocks. |

I think its totally random, so its not like an event on some days. Everyone will get them (if I'm not wrong). I was curious if they appear out of sight too, meaning if they can be discovered by scrolling. Not sure about that. There are times when I don't get any and then times when they appear every few minutes. So my assumption is there is some kind of timeout for how many you can collect per day or like that. |

I noticed Code block isn't even needed, as you can freely type src="`" (with a ` before the quote) and it renders it with two quotes. I can imagine that a regex or something looks for src= or href blocks, to sanitize them (pure speculation). It works with href="`" too, but not with title=`" . Note, these are all not in code block, so it is independent from code. |

While I agree, the truth is, the bigger your platform gets, the more interesting it is for spammers (and trolls), especially automated bots. And the harder it is to maintain the site too. While I do dislike Captcha (everyone dislikes it, its just inconvenience) and Cloudflare, I can understand why they are using it. Nobody wants to annoy their users.
So let's enjoy this forum and community, as long as it is free from any inconvenience like that. |

Amazing soundtrack on the NES! This is a "remaster" of the same tunes, but edited to simulate a stereo effect. The timestamp starts with Stage 1 track. |

https://github.com/GreemDev/Ryujinx seems doing fine for now (4k Github stars and active development). From legal perspective I don't see any reason why this is problematic, unlike with Yuzu. So Ryujinx itself is not dead, only the main contributor and developer is (not literally dead, I hope ![]() |

I see the "Neo" in NeoRomhacking similar to what Neo Tokyo is to Tokyo, a rebuild version of the once great city/community. It follows the same structure and logic and keeps the spirit the old community had, but with its own style and features. One could say its a Remake of RHDN. ![]() |

I tried to import this RSS feed in Thunderbird and get the same error. And it has a neat builtin validator reporting whats wrong: https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fneoromhacking.net%2Frss.php

It's kind of conflict of interest, either to preserve the screenshot as it is or to scale it for the layout. Automatic scaling down to preserve layout makes sense to me, but then there should be a clickable link (the image itself in example) to show the image in its full glory. |

Posted by Red Soul The same composer of FFMQ also did the music for the Game Boy Final Fantasy Legend 3. The following song is the Palace Theme, but its a Remix. I couldn't find the original GB song on YouTube. But it sounds quite similar, just with better instruments. Edit: Well I found the original track: https://youtu.be/9jB5zYdWkVA?list=PLhPt7n-ALrSDB_PVgBwhATTOce2hLcQB6 |

Super Mario Kart_Super SpongeBob Kart v1.0.bps - Download from pCloud I was going through some older Romhacks. Some patches require an old dump of a game, which I do not have or have trouble finding. "Super SpongeBob Kart" is a recent example of that. Got it working and I simply recreated this patch in .bps file format (it was .ips previously) on a modern No-Intro dump. I did not change anything on the Romhack itself, it is identical mod. Only the file format and required original ROM dump are now mdoern. Nothing earth shattering here.
