What's "streamed music"?

"Streamed" refers to music that isn't sequenced.

Streamed is like an MP3, OGG or WAV file. It's data that plays pre-recorded audio.

So like Sega CD games?

If I were to make a rotated version it would have to be "Tour of Iran."

(sorry for the lack of sharable updates -- i've been busy with some stuff)

Samus tours the whole world. :D

Cat Zelda. Everyone Hylian is a cat. Moblins are dogs. Zoras stay the same because they're fish people.

I'm surprised that the roster in Super Mario Kart can be extended that far, but a lot of those are alternates to pre existing racers which is probably the best way to do it.

Also lightbulbsun made a special hack for me back on the old RHDN site for the game Zombies Ate My Neighbors on SNES that corrected the colors for Purple Tentacle in the bonus level, Day of The Tentacle. I have the GitHub link he gave me for it too. https://github.com/lightbulb-sun/zombies-tentacle He posted it on Janurary 9, 2024.

The character sprites are adorable. I'm not sure how to interpret the tiles they're standing on but everything else is distinct! Also glad to see Minnie Mouse getting some love.

I've got a Kirby's Adventure hack in its infancy, not quite ready for a WIP thread. I'm gonna take this thing to the moon if I can...

I like the new colors for Kirby in the first 3 images. :D

I had a Windows XP laptop that i got free with a dial up internet service and it was able to emulate games up to the 16-bit era. I had seen rom hacks in youtube videos up to that point, but had no idea how to get them or use them. Whenever i downloaded a zip file of Super Mario Bros. roms, it would have a bunch of roms in them as well as very questionable hacks. Sometimes it would be thousands of roms due to the popularity of some NES games getting more attention than others. I would actually painstakingly delete rom after rom to get rid of the nastier ones just because I only wanted a handful of Mario games. Same went for Zelda, Punchout, ect. Sonic meanwhile didn't get as much attention from hackers back then and only had a handful of games that were easy to get. Nestopia, Kega Fusion, and ZSNES were my favorite emulators to use despite their small problems here n there. As long as they worked, that was enough for me. My laptop couldn't handle any N64 games so Zelda'a Birthday was out of the question. It could however play Sega CD and 32X. There was Sonic Bots on Mobius which was a mod of DOOM for the 32X. Then there was the Sonic in Knuckles Chaotix hack. I really liked the Streets of Rage 2 character hacks. Used to download all of those from the old RHDN site. Diglett, Dio, Robocop and Ed-209, those were some of my favorites. So yeah emulation led to my rom hacks.

Also I just remembered one of my favorite hacks from way back when, "Mario is MIssing Done Right" for Super Nintendo. It's a rom hack of Super Mario World or Super Mario All Stars, I can't remember which one. What I can remember is you played as Luigi and played through levels with music from different Mario games similar to Super Mario Bros. 3-Mix on the NES.

I just for continue working because them, and where from back in 2018.

Not dead.

I like this idea. A kirby version would be cool too because Kirby's Adventure had spiked enemies that would be a hazard for the balloons. But then Kirby wouldn't need balloons to fly... Pikachu! It could be a Pikachu game!

Not a fan of the straight yellow color TBH, I prefer the rainbow scheme that the current 'logo' is rocking. It's also to much of a rip off of the Super Mario World font/logo.

It would be cool to see the SNES button colors in the logo.

Hi, I'm LJ40 and I mostly just lurk patiently waiting for the next RPG translation.

Wonder if there's any progress on Sakura Wars 2 for Sega Saturn. All we have so far is a translated demo.

The dates are simply the date all of them were posted to the new site. I do the same thing when I post on Internet Archive unless i have the dates on hand. The old site should still have the dates on it.
