Download the Document + Example Patches
Revised version 2. This is a tutorial document on putting "streamed" music into your Aria of Sorrow hacks! Note that this takes up a lot of data and that I may have to update both the tutorial and example patch to fix and update things in the future. Enjoy for those who use this! ____________________ I do requests (reverse-engineering, programming, music, spritework, writing, etc.). I'm always learnin'.

Posted by MacUser "Streamed" refers to music that isn't sequenced. Sequenced music is when you use a sound engine to define commands that are coded to produce notes, octave changes, enable/disable effects like vibrato and tremolo, etc. This uses channels that are assigned instrument samples in the game, which are often changed throughout the song as well. You essentially code a note sheet for the sound engine/processor to understand. Streamed is like an MP3, OGG or WAV file. It's data that plays pre-recorded audio. The reason I put quotation marks around streamed here is because while the songs are kinda sorta streamed, they're actually really long samples that have to be kept playing and looped properly through code playing sequences. ____________________ I do requests (reverse-engineering, programming, music, spritework, writing, etc.). Updated this with a second version of the download. Found a more efficient method for writing song data. I also included a couple more example patches and greatly rewrote the content of the original document as I didn't like it. Hope you enjoy y'all. ____________________ I do requests (reverse-engineering, programming, music, spritework, writing, etc.). I'm always learnin'.
