I finally went ahead and updated my Elnard English beta patch to version 2e. You can download that here: Elnard English beta patch 2e
There was a total of 28 text pointers that needed to be updated. The super v-power is my favorite (unofficial) snes revision. 128kb of vram x2 > 64kb of vram x1.
Sorry for not posting an official revision but I thought it would be cool to share this here. I designed the pcb and installed it. Yes, I do some hacking. I have been a member of RHDN since around 2009. I mostly work on snes stuff. I haven't really made a lot of stuff. I mostly like playing around with code to learn how different things work. I have learned a lot and I like helping others especially with compressing/decompressing data. One day when the time is right I plan on reconstructing the 7th Saga and Mega Man X for the snes and adding a bunch of new features. Firefox. It was looking correct the last time I was on here. Im not sure what changed. Its only NinCollin's post that look out of place.
I just tried google chrome and it is also not looking correct. I think its my theme. Im using acid(ice man). When I switch to the default theme it looks correct. Just checked and the text is correct on my iphone using acid(ice man) theme. So using a pc with Firefox/google chrome and acid(ice man) theme the text is still looking like it’s bugged but my iPhone using safari it’s correct. ____________________ Give someone a fish and you feed them for a day, teach them how to fish and you feed them for life. |

Strange, Firefox on iPhone text is good with acid theme. So pc windows 10 acid theme shows the bugged text.

Still seems like the easiest way would be for it to be like in the 2nd image that I posted like how RHDN did it. Cool, at least we now know its something to do with the theme. I checked again on my iphone and some of the text is correct and some are not. Very strange.
