Just a thread if any of you want to share what game (or games) you are currently playing.

I've been playing Super Mario RPG: Relocalized by CoolCatBomberMan. I'll admit it felt strange playing it at first since I'm so used to the original translation, but it's really grown on me. Currently on my way to get the 6th Star, so almost at the end.

Sounds like an interesting translation, I might have to check that one out!

I haven't been playing or watching much in recent months, but I've been off-and-on playing the first Silent Hill game on PSX. Obv, the old tank controls kinda suck but I've gotten used to 'em and the atmosphere of this game is unmatched by anything I've ever played aside Yume Nikki/2kki.

I have been playing PSO ep 1&2 emulated on a Wii that recently adquired and repaired, through the SD card (a shame that is not Boot2 compatible)
On Genesis, through a home made power base, Phantasy Star 1
Before those 2, I´been playing/testing some other carts in SNES and Famicom and his clone mapper variants

I've been playing Turok 2 on hardcore on my Series S. I just made it to the primagen's lightship. It's been quite difficult, but I wouldn't expect hardcore to be easy lol. Prior to that I played through Doom 1, 2 and Doom 64. This was before Doom 1+2 came out of course, so I played the XBLA versions of those games.

Trails through Daybreak, mostly. I've also been playing Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and a bit of Magic: The Gathering Arena (though I much prefer physical).

It's been a few weeks since I've played games, but am almost finished with The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons on Nintendo Switch Online. Prior to playing it, I finished Oracle of Ages. Seasons is the easier of the two.

In the past few weeks i've been playing various Super Mario 64 ROM hacks, namely B3313 and Mario Builder 64. Outside of that, this year so far I have been invested in Fallout 4, Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, and Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled

Final Fantasy 1 and 2: Dawn of Souls for GBA. Haven't played it in a long while. Starting off with FF1.

I'm always playing a little bit of a small variety of games, honestly, but the ones I'm mostly focused on right now are:

Chrono Trigger (PS1) with emulator enhancements to cut the load times to almost nothing (3x disc speed, 3x seek speed in DuckStation), with RetroAchievements.

If it weren't for the load times, it'd probably be the definitive "SNES-style" version. I own it physically though, because it's the cheapest physical CT copy you can get still. It's a little easier to handle on a PS2 with Fast Disc Speed mode if playing physically.

Chrono Cross - Radical Dreamers Edition (Steam PC). The speedup toggle on a standard NG playthrough is too good, and RDE's been patched to fix the frame rate issues ingame.

finished up the 2nd game in the apollo justice trilogy and working on the 3rd game to get the trophies, game list is fairly easy for trophies just time consuming especially in the adult world lol

I've been playing Magic Knight Rayearth for the Sega Saturn, I believe it's patched to undo some of Working Designs unnecessary adjustments. So far I'm liking it, it feels like I'm experiencing an Anime episode!

Also spent a few days playing J.B. Harold for the Saturn, English patched. It's a visual movie novel type game, where you click on choices to progress the plot, but it has awful video quality on the Saturn. It inspired me to make a DVD version of it, with better quality.

@paul814 eternal darkness is an awesone game that was an offical nintendo ip on the GCN you will have a blast with it and the many and i mean many mind screws that are in there, my worst one was on while playing on the wii and i got the program error mind mess, it was something like no erasing your system hardware or something extreme like that and then the player comes back and was like WTF was that... i hope you enjoy it fully and keep in mind that 3 full runs are needed to get a true experience and bonus endings each with there easy times and hard points

@supersonicjc Yeah the mind screws are insane, I wish Nintendo would let Nightdive studios remaster this classic game for switch. More people need to experience this amazing game!

why not, they keep rereleasing other games that they wont ever drop in price, kinda sad they just abandoned the 3ds as it was really pumping games out that we wanted and now we have just the switch that is now getting 3ds games remade which is nice but there is a huge roster of games we all want, and i guess today konami released the ds games on ps5/switch its a start

Always a mix. Right now it's Warframe, Golden Sun 1 and Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3. So excited for the new TXR announced for 2025.
