Hi everyone,

A long time ago, I released a hack for WCW World Championship Wrestling that restores WCW Master's original portrait & head from Superstar Pro Wrestling, which makes him look more like Andre the Giant.

It also fixes text errors of some of the wrestling moves, and Rick Steiner's name as well.

You can check it out here: https://neoromhacking.net/hackpage.php?id=4012

I created this ad, because I would like to further improve this game, but I need help on the things that I would like to add to my hack.

I would like to see if it's possible to make it where the legs for Ric Flair, Lex Luger, Kevin Sullivan, Mike Rotunda, Rick Steiner and Steve Williams share the same palette that their upper bodies uses, for during gameplay and the ending screen. To make them look more accurate to their real life counterparts during that time period:

Including fix the palettes for the other wrestlers for the ending screen, they all still use the ones from Superstar Pro Wrestling, they never change them when they brought the game over here.

I also would like to see if it's possible to tone down the AI's behavior, to be less aggressive.

That's why I'm looking for an expert, that's really good on hacking NES ROMs, to help me on this.

If someone can help me on this, that would be great.

Hi everyone,

A long time ago, me and DarkSamus993 released a restoration hack for the American versions of Strider 1 & 2, that restores content from the Japanese versions of them: https://neoromhacking.net/hackpage.php?id=3743

I recently discovered that the final cutscene in Strider 2, where Hiryu slices Grand Master in half is still muted.

This is the scene:

That's why I'm looking for someone that's an expert on hacking PSX ROMs, that can help me on restoring the Japanese audio for that part, it's still in the ROM.

If someone can help me on this, that would be great.

Hi everyone,

I released a color hack for Final Fight CD that makes it look more like its arcade counterpart, you can check it out here: https://neoromhacking.net/hackpage.php?id=7685

There were several palettes that I couldn't change, several issues I couldn't fix and a couple features I couldn't add.

That's why I'm looking for an expert that is really good on hacking Sega CD games to help me on this stuff.

For the palettes I couldn't change, because the coding for them were weird. I would like to see if it's possible to change these palettes without screwing up the graphics and tiles of them:

Cage Version of F.Andore:
046A06AC08EE to 024A04AC08EE

The Continue Screen:
026A to 046A
0224 to 0246
0244 to 0044
0222 to 0000
02AE to 00AE

The Stage Clear Screen for the Final Stage (This one is located in the ENDING.BIN file inside of the main BIN file):

Background:
0024 to 0008
0222 to 0220

Characters:
08AA to 0068
0048 to 0248

Including see if it's possible to change the color coding for Cody, the weapons, the items, the head portraits and etc. from using the palette "0046" to using the palette "0068" for during gameplay, the stage clear screen and the credits.

If it's not possible to change all of these palettes, then it's no big deal.

For the issues I couldn't fix, here are the ones that I would like to fix for my hack:

Find out what hex values they fixed in the American version that makes the animated frames for the backgrounds of stages 3 & 4 to appear like they're suppose to.
Find out what's causing the bug that's making Poison & Roxy take double damage from Haggar's German Suplex and Piledriver moves.

For the features I couldn't add, here are the two things I was wondering if it's possible to do:

Is there a way to change the attack speed and hit detection for the three players to make them behave more like how they behaved in the arcade version?
Is there a way to add hit frames to the car in the first bonus stage?

If someone can help me on these, that would be great.

Hi everyone,

I released a hack for Final Fight 2 that does some minor improvements for it, you can check it out here: https://neoromhacking.net/hackpage.php?id=5464

I would like to further my improvement hack by getting both international versions decensored, but I need help on that, because I don't have the skills to restore the content.

That's why I'm looking for a SNES hacking expert that can help me on restoring this stuff back to those versions:

Restore the blood.
Restore Mary & Eliza.
Restore Won Won's cleaver.
Restore Freddie's death scream from the Japanese version.
Restore the original background graphics for stages one, two and five. You can learn more about it here: http://rq87.flyingomelette.com/FF/F/2/reg.html
Lower the HP of all the enemies and bosses.
The ability to see the ending on any difficulty.

If someone can help me on this, that would be great.

Hi everyone,

I released a hack for Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 that changes the default appearances of most of the wrestlers, to make them look more accurate to their real life counterparts during that time period.

You can check it out here: https://neoromhacking.net/hackpage.php?id=8179

I noticed a bunch of the costumes either have the wrong parts, or they're missing certain parts.

I would like to see if it's possible to fix them, to make them look more accurate to their real life counterparts.

That's why I'm looking for someone that's really good at using VPW Studio, along with hacking N64 ROMs, that can help me on switching the parts of these costumes around:

The first costume of Giant Baba (#1): Change the color of the boots from red to black.
The first costume of Bruiser Brody (#56): Add the lowered knee pad from his second costume (#57), and also add the white elbow pad from Koji Kanemoto's second costume (#78) as well.
The second costume of Bruiser Brody (#57): Add the white elbow pad from Koji Kanemoto's second costume (#78).
The first costume of Terry Funk (#77): Replace the regular wristbands with the taped hands.
The first & third costumes of Tiger Mask (#67) (#69): Replace the multicolored wristbands with the regular wristbands.
The second costume of Kuniaki Kobayashi (#93): Replace the taped hands with bare hands.
The third costume of Kuniaki Kobayashi (#94): Replace the MMA gloves with bare hands.
The second costume of Andre the Giant (#21): Switch the boots to the ones from Stan Hansen's first costume (#2).
The first costume of Lex Luger (#113): Remove the armbands.
The first costume of Rick Steiner (#71): Replace the multicolored boot on his right foot with a regular white boot.
The first costume of Scott Steiner (#72): Replace the multicolored boot on his left foot with a regular white boot.
The first costume of Kevin Nash (#104): Find a way to get the red stripes to appear on his pants on color 14 (Dark Gray).
The first costume of Riki Choshu (#1): Remove the wristband and move the taped hand to his right hand.
The second costume of Koji Kanemoto (#78): Remove the white elbow pad and replace the wristband on his right hand for the rest of his taped hand.
All three costumes of Mitsuharu Misawa (#22) (#23) (#24): Add the regular wristbands to them.
Both costumes of Steve Williams (#6) (#7): Add the regular wristbands to them.
Both costumes of Stan Hansen (#2) (#3): Remove the wristband.
The costume of Masanobu Fuchi (#81): Remove the wristbands.
The costume of Rusher Kimura (#27): Replace the white boots with the black boots with the black laces.
The costume of Tsuyoshi Kikuchi (#28): Add a wristband to his right hand.
The first costume of Yoji Anjo (#31): Replace the regular wristbands with the black gloves that Yoshihiro Takayama wears (#35).
The costume of Tiger Jeet Singh (#57): Add black wristbands, kneepads and replace the black boots with the red boots.
The costume of Kengo Kimura (#80): Remove the wristbands and the lowered knee pad. (This will make this costume perfect for Dory Funk Jr. & Tiger Jeet Singh, along with other wrestlers.)
The costume of Hiro Saito (#86): Add a regular wristband to his right hand, add the taped hand to his left hand and replace the black boots with the white boots.

There's also a few textures that need to be fixed:

The ripped version of the red face painted Great Muta face is messed up looking.
The back of Hogan's second head is messed up, where half of his hair is dark brown instead of blonde.
When you ripped any of Sting's face paints, it uses the wrong colored version of them for each face:

If he has his black & white face paint, removing it reveals remnants of his blue face paint.
If he has his blue face paint, removing it reveals remnants of his orange & yellow face paint.
If he has his orange & yellow face paint, removing it reveals remnants of his red & white face paint.
If he has his red & white face paint, removing it reveals remnants of his black & white face paint.

If someone can help me on this, that would be great.

Hi everyone,

I have questions about three PSX Capcom games:

Darkstalkers 3: I recently found out that Donovan has his newer improved sprites from Vampire Hunter 2/Vampire Savior 2 in this port, but they only appear if you choose the D.F. Power mode, how do I make them be his default sprites?
Street Fighter Alpha 3: Is there a way to turn off regulation mode, so the red blood can appear on everything once again?
Pocket Fighter: How do I re-enable the Japanese voice tracks for the story cutscenes, they're still in the BIN file.

What hex values do I need to change in them, in order to do all that?

Thanks for the info, but unfortunately I'm not an expert on debugging, along with using ASM as well.

Sorry about this.

I would like to see the 0xED hex editor get an unofficial update, so it will work properly on the newer operating systems of the iMac.

Darkstalkers 3 (Sony PlayStation): I recently found out that Donovan has his newer improved sprites from Vampire Hunter 2/Vampire Savior 2 in this port, but they only appear if you choose the D.F. Power mode, I would like to see someone make them be his default sprites?

Vampire Savior (Sega Saturn): A hack that will add these improvements to it:

Give Donovan his improved sprites from Vampire Hunter 2/Vampire Savior 2.
Fix two text errors in the English mode version of these two endings:

In J.Talbain's ending, change John to Jon.
In Hsien-Ko's ending, change Lin-Lin to Mei-Ling.

Vampire Chronicle (Sega Dreamcast): A hack that will add all of these improvements to it:

1.Translate the game to English, just copy the text info for the win quotes, Jedah and both endings from the American PSP port. You might have to create new text for the save & load screens.
2.Give some of the fighters their English names, you can probably grab them from the American PSP port.
3.Have the CPU use the default palettes for all the fighters, instead of the alternate ones.
4.Change the palettes for the player select screen to the ones from Vampire Savior 1, it's using the ones from Vampire Savior 2.
5.Switch the palettes for the background stages to their original ones, the only time it should use the alternate palettes is when you fight the Mid-Boss and the secret Oboro boss fight.
6.Have J.Talbain, Rikuo and Sasquatch appear more often in arcade mode, the CPU rarely chooses them. Have them appear in the stages they appear the most on from Vampire Savior 1: https://wiki.gbl.gg/w/Vampire_Savior/Secrets#Stage_Select_Probabilities
7.Restore the unused hidden fighter Dark J.Talbain, I think he's still in the ROM. His winning theme is still there.
8.Give Donovan his improved sprites from Vampire Hunter 2/Vampire Savior 2, I think they might be in the ROM.

Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower (Sony PSP):

1.Change the name of Jedah's stage back to being called "The Fetus of God" once again.
2.Restore the "DOWN!" text that's suppose to appear after you won a round.
7.Restore the unused hidden fighter Dark J.Talbain, he's still in the ROM. His winning theme is still there.
8.Give Donovan his improved sprites from Vampire Hunter 2/Vampire Savior 2, I think they might be in the ROM.
