hi supersonicjc here, lurked a bit over at RHDN and helped a few with english translations or bug fixes when they came up, not a hacker of anykind but a lover for the retro gaming community and hoping it stays alive and eventually this site comes to being a source for the retro community with the sad loss of the original... hope things happen here

just finished watching the original DiC dub of sailor moon... laughing so hard at how screwy they did there very loose storyline... the many different plots for the silver crystal for the dark kingdom arc in itself was too funny, the fact they half way through the black moon arc drop the whole negaverse plot they started with... the daimon arc with our cousins nuf said, and the dreams arc honestly... it was just as boring as the modern dub... the best part was how when they transformed you would be on set for X ammount of episodes then the call was changed (moon crystal became moon star then back to moon crystal) or how the outer senshi would be star power then planet power and back to star power... even in the dreams arc they couldnt call the inners crystal power but star power right near the end, it was a wild ride to say the least... now a quick rewatch of sailor moon crystal and the "movie" eternal before Cosmos comes out to english speaking regions this week

for years i loved my snes jr? not knowing they cut so many corners in it and the whole loss of the sony parts for sound... i had a genesis model 2 not knowing that there was even backwards compatablity in the model 1 for master system games that was missing plus the whole issues of 2 sega cd systems, loved the wii for being basically a souped up gamecube... personally i loved my ps2 slim for having the ethernet built right in instead of the first model needing the brick to add that feature... still have my launch ps4 even tho the hdd has long been switched out for a ssd

finished up the 2nd game in the apollo justice trilogy and working on the 3rd game to get the trophies, game list is fairly easy for trophies just time consuming especially in the adult world lol

is making gameshark/ pro action replay codes a gateway for hacking roms??? i just redid my entire nes list of codes and did some searching in game to make codes for myself that arent posted online at any of the sites i usually lurk in, my most unique one and im not sure as to why it was programmed the way it was but i did nes yo noid... got a infinite time code but the timer uses 2 lines of code with one line being offset by 1 full number to not make a glitched display...

a fun attempt unless its already done would be to build the loz ancient stone tablet weeks into 1 full rom, that way instead of getting to the end of a week and having to rename the sram file to the next week it would just flow into the next game... think there are some carts that got incredibly unique to get all 4 roms into one cart

@paul814 eternal darkness is an awesone game that was an offical nintendo ip on the GCN you will have a blast with it and the many and i mean many mind screws that are in there, my worst one was on while playing on the wii and i got the program error mind mess, it was something like no erasing your system hardware or something extreme like that and then the player comes back and was like WTF was that... i hope you enjoy it fully and keep in mind that 3 full runs are needed to get a true experience and bonus endings each with there easy times and hard points

so had a fun request for a rom hack here 2 of em in fact, mmpr and mmpr the movie on the snes, fix there helmets and if possible fix there bodies too, its a bit disorenting when your one of the girl rangers and they go from civilian form to looking like a body builder with a bit strange parts, that and if possible maybe add kimberly's skirt to her ranger outfit... thinking like the genesis suits and more body accurate and helmet accurate rangers

why not, they keep rereleasing other games that they wont ever drop in price, kinda sad they just abandoned the 3ds as it was really pumping games out that we wanted and now we have just the switch that is now getting 3ds games remade which is nice but there is a huge roster of games we all want, and i guess today konami released the ds games on ps5/switch its a start

has anyone tried the genesis homebrew game mega man sequel wars? so far only mega man 4 has been released and they teased back in april that mega man 5 was coming soon... hoping that it will be getting the release soon, faithful rebuild of the nes games now on the genesis since we got the 1st 3 games back in the 90s or recently released on the genesis mini

wasn't the point of the nes top loader not only to be a revision to hardware but also to change how the system itself was since the old gray box itself had many people and even myself was guilty of this but we put our sodas or glasses full of liquids to rest and some would spill into there system and wreck it, that and when they released that top loader it was a last ditch effort to keep the nes alive since the snes was going strong and nintendo wanted to attempt to stop the unlicensed games that started to really flood the market including the game genie that so many loved back then...
