What have you been watching lately? My wife and I have been watching Supernatural, we finished up Attack on Titan last weekend and decided to pick Supernatural as the next show to watch together. We finished up episode 9 last night. I remember when the show first aired, I was a Sophomore in high school!

After seeing Furiosa, I wanted to watch all of the old Mad Max movies. I didn't really enjoy the first movie, but Road Warrior and Thunderdome were really fun to watch. I am going to rewatch Fury Road next, but the Black & Chrome edition this time. I've heard it makes the movie feel a lot more intense and gritty.

It really sucks that Furiosa did so poorly in theaters. It has a few issues, but it's still a really great movie overall. It seems the next Mad Max movie, Mad Max: The Wasteland, probably isn't going to happen now because Furiosa did so poorly. Fury Road and Furiosa were both intentionally written with a lot of unanswered questions about Max that were likely intended to answered in that movie, but now we'll never know what happened to him before the events of Fury Road.

My Wife and I had been watching Resident Alien, now just waiting on season 4. She is currently watching the Good Doctor. I was watching the Orville, but finished it and hoping for a 4th season. Thinking now of rewatching the Alien films (minus AVP 1 and 2) I’ve only ever seen Alien, Aliens, 3, Resurrection and Prometheus. Never seen Covenant and I haven’t gone to see Romulus.

just finished watching the original DiC dub of sailor moon... laughing so hard at how screwy they did there very loose storyline... the many different plots for the silver crystal for the dark kingdom arc in itself was too funny, the fact they half way through the black moon arc drop the whole negaverse plot they started with... the daimon arc with our cousins nuf said, and the dreams arc honestly... it was just as boring as the modern dub... the best part was how when they transformed you would be on set for X ammount of episodes then the call was changed (moon crystal became moon star then back to moon crystal) or how the outer senshi would be star power then planet power and back to star power... even in the dreams arc they couldnt call the inners crystal power but star power right near the end, it was a wild ride to say the least... now a quick rewatch of sailor moon crystal and the "movie" eternal before Cosmos comes out to english speaking regions this week

I've been watching episodes of 2 Stupid Dogs/Super Secret Secret Squirrel on and off for the past while, and I just got through season 1. It's so goofy, I love it.

Also recently got into The Matrix with a few of the movies thus far. The original in particular is quite the thinker, and The Animatrix oozes of charmingly experimental animation styles.

Stuff from the early 2000s. Loving that retro-futurism aesthetic from a lot of cartoons at the time. Been listening to a lot of DnB and finding wallpapers for my computer from back then too. Watching some old anime like DBZ (original US dubs), Pokemon, G Gundam, ect. Also been finding TONS of cool websites like https://asciiart.eu which lets me turn images into ASCII.txt format. Yeah it's really oldschool, but I wanna try making my own site and using them for it.

I have been watching Star Trek TOS, Star Trek TNG, Star Trek DS9, and Star Trek VOY. TNG, DS9, and VOY are my favorite Star Trek shows.

Haven't watched shows in awhile, most of the stuff I liked on Crunchyroll is on hiatus. Boruto, Yashahime, Overlord... planning on sitting down with the spouse for the new season of That Time I Reincarnated As A Slime though.

I don't typically watch stuff unless it's on in the cafeteria or one of my roomies has the TV on. They usually have Law & Order SVU on in the cafeteria and it's one of the worst fits for lunch time with the things that go on in that show. On the other hand, Monk and The Three Stooges are pretty fun to watch when I'm home and I don't feel like I have to commit so much time into following the shows as series to be able to enjoy them, so they're really the right fit for me these days.

Just an hour ago finished watching the first Harry Potter film from 2001. I never watched them before, even though I was already an adult at this time. Don't ask me how this could have happened. Will continue with the rest throughout the weekend.

I've been watching the PBS Kids schedule and watching Cyberchase when it comes on, and it's been kinda neat that this show is still airing (and getting new episodes) and neat that I can just get it for free over the air. Aside from that I've been sloooowly working on watching every My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episode and I'm on season 9 so far so there's not a ton left.

Check out my site! It's got a bunch of projects I've worked on, including homebrew and a virtual world about collaborative map building that's RP focused.

They are still making new episodes for Cyberchase!?!?!?! Damn, color me impressed!

It's been years since I've seen most of MLP, I should rewatch it sometime, or so I keep telling myself, but I never do :P

Yes, but starting with season 9 in 2013 the show started to shift over toward being more science and environmentalism focused, which is kind of weird for a show that's literally supposed to be set in the Internet. And I know I'm not supposed to take it too seriously but I end up thinking about the overall worldbuilding they're doing and trying to make sense of that, like portals are a heavily emphasized feature of the series, but there are recent episodes that talk about avoiding unnecessary long distance travel to cut down on pollution, when there's a solution to that right there. Like in the episode A Change of Art, Hacker sets up a portal network to get from site to site really quickly, and they have the technology right there, someone did it, and they're just... not? But they also gave Hacker a niece when that doesn't make sense for his backstory so maybe they just don't care lol.

I think I end up enjoying the older math-focused episodes more (like often the fact that math is involved isn't really even prominent, like I could see the stuff they're doing come up as simple puzzles in TTRPGs and stuff and it's polished up with really fun worldbuilding) but the newer ones still have their charm.

Check out my site! It's got a bunch of projects I've worked on, including homebrew and a virtual world about collaborative map building that's RP focused.
