Consider making the e-mail address field on member profiles hidden by default.

New users editing their profile may put in their e-mail address, but may not realize it will be visible to everyone on their profile page by default, even logged-out guests. When you are editing your profile, you have to go down to the option "Hide Email" and change it to "Hide my email".

Consider changing this setting so emails are hidden by default. That will help prevent bots from harvesting users' e-mail addresses to send spam.
