I've always had a taste in doing visual art. Doodles since farther than I can cohesively remember, and a breakthrough in full-color digital pieces since I discovered FireAlpaca in 2015. You can find some of my highlights below, and more on my cohost or this thread on another small forum.
Mage girl with the intent of bearing the Windows logo colors. Also known as The Hooded Wanderer. Some Halloween scrimblos gathered 'round. Was pretty proud of this one back when I did it, gave me a confidence boost in my digital art prowess. Some Li'l Bunnies--group shot, Aro Week, and TDoV/Easter respectively. Drawing the first one here ultimately led me to make the Li'l Bunny my sona. Some anthro bunnies for Halloween, Ace Week, and Christmas respectively. A mental health drawing of a hollow bunny constrained by a dark figure of their inner psyche. Xenia the Linux fox in a style akin to Klonoa. This one's done some pretty admirable numbers on my socials. Additional anthro bunnies. |

The aromantic bun has bunderful beans so cute!
Kinda wanna dig into that mental health drawing a bit... the grip and emptiness are good visual metaphors to describe the power a mental illness or neurological condition can have and suggests that it is not so easy to flick a switch and manage it. The hand reaching out wants help, while the scary presentation drives the sought-after help away, and I feel like that is an accurate allusion to how some people are more inclined to leave behind someone who is struggling because they can't understand what is happening rather than be there for them and how painful that can be to experience abandonment in a time of need. I really like this drawing because it has a lot going on rooted in the experience of mental crisis. |

Oh, cute! I remember last TDoV/Easter day. ____________________ If you need me, I'll be overanalyzing how games work. Y'know, instead of playing them. |

Some of them are nice. Besides the character from your avatar, maybe What if Xenia but Klonoa-style is my favorite. Not only because I am Linux user and fan, but also the style works greate as Klonoa-style and you captured it wonderfully.
Have you ever tried the program Krita? (Edit: I just want to clarify my wording here: "Besides the character from your avatar" wasn't meant to exclude it being nice. I meant its my favorite at the side of the Xenia drawing.) |

Yes! I have tried Krita before. It's quite packed for a FOSS art alternative, and has a great range of brushes. That said, I feel my linework tends to come out sloppier on Krita than it does on FireAlpaca, so I still default to the latter. |
