I've been working on and off the last week to make a script to import and export PlayStation textures (.tim files) into Aseprite, for the next version of a ROM hack I've made. So far, the Import script can import 4-bit and 8-bit textures, both the CLUT (Color Look Up Table) and the texture itself, but not yet 16-bit or 24-bit textures. The export script is really messy and can only export edited 4-bit textures from the import script, so I've got a lot to clean up there before it's really ready for any release, but it's just far enough along that I was able to use it for all the texture changes I needed already. I'm gonna work on cleaning up and improving mostly the export script and I'm gonna throw them up on github or something for anyone that'd be helpful to.

(These images are linked from Discord, so they'll expire sooner than later but I don't really know a better place to host them. Sorry about that.)

There are several options out there, but I've used imgur.com for nearly 15 years with barely any issues. As long as you upload a picture with an account, they will not randomly delete your old images.

Odd. Frequently, I post screenshots of my unfinished content on my Discord server. You could try updating your message by replacing the expired links with new ones. Simple.

In my opinion for editing the .tim files used in PSX games, Tim2View is the recommended utility for exporting graphics and textures.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to reupload those images somewhere else. I'm not gonna sit here and keep refreshing Discord links :P

I certainly used tim2view paired with this, but I just used it to extract individual tim files out of a collection of them. I mostly wanted to use Aseprite as it has an indexed color mode, so I never have to think about using colors not in the palette or having issues going from PNG back to tim and that kinda stuff. Maybe I'm overcomplicating it, and I'm not very experienced with texture editing to be fair, but this approach certainly worked out for me.

Updated OP to contain the images once again. Got off my lazy ass and made an imgur account to host the pictures on and hotlinked those. Never did get around to cleaning up this script and releasing it tho. I really should :P
