Hi! Looking good and deeply nostalgic with the ACMLM board! :) Just mainly here to test stuff. So far everything I've tested seems to be working except for two things.

1. The download counters. They stay frozen on the same number, even after you download a hack.
2. The search function. Searching for "Amida's Curse" doesn't give any results, while searching for "Amida" does. The hack in question is called Zelda II - Amida's Curse.

As for suggestions. A really important addition would be to bring over the reviews from RHDN. They are essential to get an impression about a ROM hack. I really hope you manage to bring them over.

Is there a way to claim an author number? I'm number 745. I noticed my info is still stored on RHDN. Hopefully you can bring that over too.

Would be great if there would be many sorting functions. Like sorting on release date, amount of downloads, amount of reviews, alphabetical etc.

Huge thanks for all the work you've put in so far. I'll be checking this site from time to time!

Also giving these boards a little test run, which I really, really like. :toot:

As for your point #1 downloads, I think that's just not implemented yet, but you point #2 on searches, I've also found search to be quite wonky and this is a perfect example, definitely a bug.

Reviews are being worked on IIRC, this is just some of the stuff that did not get uploaded to the Internet Archive so all this data has to be manually added in, and it take time.

And I'm going to assume more sorting functions will come once the bare basic are in place, but perhaps NinCollin could make a "what's being worked on post" which goes over some of these things, this might cut down on redundancies of common questions if things being ever pick up here.

Hell yeah! this 100%, thanks so much.

The vibe of this site is sick, wasn't planning on posting my stuff on any central hub but if this place stays chill, I don't mind. :P:)

Increasing the downloads counters hasn't been implemented yet as I'm still brainstorming a way to serve files that can reliably track downloads (and work with the new submission system I'm planning on implementing)

The search box is very rudimentary at the moment; thanks for bringing it to my attention that it doesn't like ' characters though (not sure why.... it's properly escaped...). Will look into that

I'm planning on having the community database be editable just like RHDN, and I'll provide a mechanism to link a community database user to a new forum account here

I've implemented a couple sorting methods on a couple pages, but I absolutely plan to go back and add more

Yeah i'm still working on dumping reviews and credits; they'll be imported in once I get 'em all grabbed though

I also really need to make a roadmap/known bugs/not implemented features thread >_>

Cool! Avatars are working too. And I see my name is coupled now to my ROM hack pages! Awesome stuff! Looking forward to future updates. Let me know if you need any help.

Hi! Glad to be here. While this may be just a mirror of RHDN right now, I hope it may grow into something more in the future.

Speaking of mirror, I was wondering if there would be any way to preserve the RHDN forum posts, as there is no guarantee that they will stay up for long and there is a lot of essential information trapped within those discussion.

In any case, thank you NinCollin and everyone else that helped with the making of this site! You are helping to keep the spirit of romhacking alive.
