I played:
Pokemon Puzzle League 1p Stadium Mode on V-Hard. Got stopped by Giovanni. Wario's Woods Vs COM Mode on V-Hard. Couldn't even get past the first boss. Dr. Mario 64 4-player multi-versus mode on V-Hard. I must've resetted like 5 times before finally winning a set. All to complete and utter comedic failure. Today just wasn't my day. |

Super Mario 64. I did some 16-star speedruns the other night. I set a brand new PB for myself while streaming to my discord friends. I've got my first sub-25. My next long-term goal is sub-20. My next short-term goal is sub-23. Video for the entire run is here, just in case you want to watch the whole thing. The run starts at 1:29. |

I just finished playing SM64 Star Revenge 5: Neo Blue Realm with my friends on Coop DX. I was hoping to get all 70 stars but we had technical difficulties once again, so we had to settle for 58. We'll track down the last 12 later. |

Posted by Galeforce I've been a bit on a lull as of late in terms of playing games, but I'd like to update this post by saying I have a brand new PB. The video for the entire run is here. The real run starts at 0:36. Otherwise, I've been mostly just playing MMORPGs to pass the time. |

Dragon Quest 3's remake seems to be the current hot topic of the weekend. I started playing it a bit. Not too terribly sure how far I'll get in the time I got before my break, though. |

Posted by Red Soul The GBA ROM with all of them, Mega Man Mania, comes out in 2025. This was the last one of the GBC batch before they released it. |

Cave made some sweet shmups, that's for sure.
As an interesting aside, the original arcade units are a bit easier to play because the hardware couldn't keep up when the screen was overly filled with stuff. The lag in bullet hell situations made it slightly easier to dodge than playing on emulators/re-releases. For as awesome as their games were you'd never guess how (comparatively) low-tech their hardware was. Been playing Onegai Monsters, the closest thing to a mobile game pre-y2k. Mostly want to figure out the best way to play it. It's not really a mimikyu (like Robopon) but a management game. You basically do a bunch of setup and burn time until the profits--like a lot of mobile/facebook games. Breeding is the single most important thing, where the kid has a slew of stats and abilities from its birth that otherwise would take time and effort to get. You aren't keeping pets; selling off the parents is a whole thing in its own right. It's a lot of planning and preparation, then set the clock to advance. |

I just played and made sure to finish "Hebereke: Enjoy Edition" for switch and I got mine from the E-Shop for a cheap penny... (In sale for at least for at least almost ten measly gold points on the E-Shop in 2024...) What a great bargain back then...
Also as a cool thing, during the switch intro menu, a FME-7-ized remixed version of "Hebe's adventure" is played when options are being selected, and has great bonus features too... for speedrunners and casuals! Also: working in the middle of M&L Brothership, too! ____________________ MAKER OF CHUM Welcome to the Nasty Barnicle... (Not to be confused with the Krusty Krab!!!) |
