![]() An extensive graphics hack for Final Fantasy Adventure from when I first got into romhacking that replaces npcs, enemies, and more with graphics from the Game Boy-era Zeldas, as well as other Game Boy titles as a nod to the Easter eggs found in Link's Awakening. You're gonna like the replacement for the chocobo ally! There are some minor text edits throughout as well. ![]() ![]() ![]() Known bugs/glitches: Due to inverting the colors of the font and text box to match Link's Awakening, the fade effect during the opening text crawl looks a bit wonky. To be honest, I'd love to see ALttP in this graphical style (I always find ALttP ugly and offputting and could never play it. |

That sounds like a fun project! I might ask around on Zeldix later about it later, see how difficult it is to work with that game's graphics. |

I tried modifying them myself in the past and I can tell you that Link himself has unique palettes, but just about everyone else has shared palettes (I tried to make them both look closer to OoT in colors and style), so large scale editing of graphics could be a challenge.
When I edited Zelda it affected NPCs as well in ways I couldn't fix. Maybe there are more appropriate tools for the job or something. |
