I am starting to notice that, whenever I post a screenshot, it takes up the entirety of my post, and I'm starting to be worried that the forum software doesn't automatically scale images to a certain size. And it doubly concerns me when I post images that are way too high res (eg: something from my old iPhone, for example, would be very likely to stretch the page a lot) as it would royally mess with post layouts.
I'll use this post as an example. I may suggest limiting forum posts with an autoscale limit when screenshots are too large, to prevent such an anomaly from occuring. This would help make the forums look a lot more presentable. |

It's kind of conflict of interest, either to preserve the screenshot as it is or to scale it for the layout. Automatic scaling down to preserve layout makes sense to me, but then there should be a clickable link (the image itself in example) to show the image in its full glory. |

Posted by thingsiplay i think it would be nice if in post images above a certain size were displayed smaller until they were clicked/tapped, but im not sure how feasible it is at the moment |

Posted by The Evil Vampony Huh. I was unaware you could use HTML code for these forums. They're usually turned off by default. That's a convenient middle ground until we get an answer from NinCollin himself. Thanks. |
