This is a web-based patcher specifically for the US release of Lufia 2.
The patcher can be found here: https://rompatch.ancientcave.net/
It includes many patches made by the author, as well as some from other contributors. The idea is to easily be able to patch a ROM with options of the user's choice, while the patcher will take care of proper patching order as well as handle programmatic calculations for the purpose of generating random bytes where needed, for example.
The patcher can be used without any knowledge, need for specific tools, or OS requirements. Patching still requires an original ROM. It includes checksum checks, and will create ROMs that can be ran on real hardware. |
