GTA: San Andreas ROM/ISO Editor
Game Specific
Description
This editor will let you make changes to your GTA: San Andreas (PS2) game and will patch the changes into your ROM/ISO.

Features:

* Works with either USA version 1.03 or version 3.0 (SLUS-20946) and will auto-detect which version you have. Will not let you open the wrong file.

* Can adjust the acceleration and top speed of the BMX bike. Since this is the bike you start the game with, you can have a lot of fun experimenting with this.

* Can adjust how fast the police cars and motorcycles are. This affects how fast the cops are when they're chasing you, and how long it takes them to get to you when you commit a crime.

* Can change how many accurate shots are required from a weapon before your stat gauge increases and you get a stat-up message.

* There are two different sections for weapon damage adjustments. Since the damage adjustments you make will affect anyone in the game who uses those weapons, you'll need to be careful. One of the sections has weapons that are mainly used by you (the player) and can probably be safely adjusted to much higher damage levels (up to 999). Can easily kill most enemies with 1 shot when set to 999 damage. The second section has weapons that are often used by gangs, cops, etc, so you may want to adjust the damage value of these to lower levels so you don't take as much damage when they shoot at you. Pretty fun setting the Cop Pistol damage to zero and having a huge gunfight with a bunch of cops. Fairly easy to win the gunfight. Can use higher damage if you want more of a challenge.

* Lets you adjust the ammo clip size for some of the weapons.

* Can also adjust how far some weapons can shoot, as well as how far away it can lock on to a target.

* Program will remember any previous changes you made, and will display them the next time you run the editor. This is useful if you have already made some changes but want to go back and make some more changes, but can't remember what values you used.

* Handy buttons that show the normal/default values for each section, as well as maximum or minimum values.

* Has a Help button that shows lots of useful information, and includes a Readme file.

* IMPORTANT: Any changes you make with the editor will work fine with a new game or with an 'in-game' save file (on your memory card). If you're using an emulator, the changes from the editor will NOT work with a pre-existing emulator 'save-state', so make sure to use the in-game save files instead.

* The editor does not make a backup copy of your ROM, so if you want one, make sure to make your own copy before you patch it.
