NeoRHDN - Utilities - Utility Information

Bootedit 2
Miscellaneous Graphics Tools
Description
Old Lost BootEdit2 app which you can use to patch PSX ISO's (.ISO, .BIN, .MDF and some others) "NORMAL" BOOT LOGO (PS in 3D) with another 3d model in "TMD" format. The UI should be self explanatory

Please note that there are many TMD's inside the TMD_models folder, buy if IN ANY CHANCE you want to CREATE or MODIFY one of them it's going be very hard. Short story:
- Start with a Model in Milkshape 3D and save it in E3D ASC (ASCII) format.
- Then with the E3D program (the latest working version is in MS-DOS but there's another for Windows x86 that doesn't work well) open that ASC model and save it to TMD (beware you may have to "revert" polygons, that is, the normal vector pointing the opposite way...and maybe tilting the model a little).
- THEN you could use your custom TMD

Restrictions on TMD.
- No Larger than 14KB (or so...haven't tested with 15KB)
- No more than 500 "triangles" (polygons in this case since TMD's only support triangles as a minimum surface unit

Also, there are a few placeholder texts to mess around with the disclaimer at the boot screen (after the white screen with a yellow/orange rhombus)

Good luck messing with this stuff!
