Pokémon Trading Card Game
Game Boy
Game Description
Pokemon's trading card game was (unexpectedly to some) a huge hit, and what better way to capitalize on a video game based card game than a video game? One might suspect this is a stinker, but it's really quite faithful and well done. The plot is almost exactly like most other Pokemon games: you want to be the very best card game player of all, and want to obtain the legendary cards. To do this you need to obtain all the badg- er, medals and kick your rival's butt. Cards are received through trades and beating other card players to get booster packs, and they all act as you expect them to along with a few digital exclusives. Difficulty isn't the hardest, but some medal fights can cause trouble.

Unfortunately the sequel did not make it outside of Japan, but the TCG itself is still going along with an online version or two.
Translation Description
Complete translation to Brazilian Portuguese, containing the original description from the Portuguese version of the real cards present in the game and rebrandind it to "Estampas Ilustradas" as it is called in the official local version.
Some corrections were made, such as the classic "Sr. Mímica" and "Ninetails", as well as some graphical and gramatical fixes, and current terminologies were used. Besides that, all attack names and theirs descriptions are the exactly same text as found in a original copy of the portugues/brazilian cards.

The Game Boy version of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released for the Game Boy Color in 1998 (Japan) and 2000 (North America and Europe), is a digital adaptation of the physical card game.

This game combines RPG elements with strategic card gameplay, allowing players to build and customize their decks as they progress through the story.
