Game Description

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is an action adventure game for the Super Nintendo.

Translation Description

This is a completely new Irish (Gaeilge/GA) translation of The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past (SNES).

This was inspired by the fact that the creators stated that Zelda was based on Celtic mythology, so it's quite fitting to translate it into a Celtic language: Irish!

Hopefully this translation will allow native Irish speakers to enjoy one of the (if not "the") greatest video games ever created (or even inspire others to start learning Irish).

This translation also includes:

Edited title screen and other screens to appear in Irish.

An "Irish" Link (he is now a redhead!)

N.B. This is still a work in progress but you can test it out so far and please provide feedback, for example, if you spot any incorrect translations, especially as (so far) no native Irish speakers have been directly involved in this translation.
