Game Description
LaSalle Ishii is a parody RPG for the Famicom. In the game, you play as a Manager of the real-life Idol group called Childs, working for real-life TV producer LaSalle Ishii's talent agency. With the band, you can perform concerts at the various town halls. You must also prevent the Idols' Fumando (dissatisfaction percentage) from reaching 100 by making careful decisions throughout the game.
Translation Description
Octo Vinctum Consistency Patch

The Stardom Warriors localization of LaSalle Ishii’s Childs Quest received a sequel, “Octo Vinctum: Revenge of the Czar”, in December 2023, which brought a number of changes in lore and terminology, and some things were retconned entirely.

This patch brings many of the changes from Octo Vinctum back to Stardom Warriors, bringing it closer to the current continuity.

The 8V Continuity patch also serves as a revision to the original translation, with many heavily abridged lines like “Found zilch.” being expanded, and in some cases, the dialogue is actually closer to the original Japanese.

This patch should be applied to the Stardom Warriors translated ROM,
which is available here: https://www.romhacking.net/translations/5321/

Changes include:
- New font
- Some slightly altered graphics.
- Game terminology updated to match Octo Vinctum.
- Updated dialogue to be more consistent with Octo Vinctum lore.
- Revised translations.
- Less abridged text overall.

More changes may come in the future!
