Game Description |
Akanbe Dragon is a single-player action-strategy game for the MSX2 by Winky Soft, who later became known for their Super Robot Wars series of games.
It's based on a cookie by House Food, who used to sell 'Akanbe Dragon' teriyaki and 'Shiranbe Salamander' cheese flavored cookies in Japan in the 80s.

Instructions:
----
* Apply the patch to the Japanese disk image of Akanbe Dragon
(.dsk file with the SHA-1 hash of B97B17ACD1B603FF90CAF95F348625A22E50A4E3).
Notes:
----
* This patch translates the little Japanese the game has and fixes some visual things (Engrish).
* The biggest change is the Akanbe Dragon logo during gameplay being replaced with a helpful terrain chart (less trial-and-error).
* Your Queen and Knight can now shoot two projectiles at a time, instead of just one. They're still incredibly weak, however, but it's something. |
