| Translation Description |
This patch is for the Japanese-only release of ChoroQ Wonderful (PS1) to translate it into English.
ChoroQ Wonderful is a story-based racing game that requires the player to complete quests as well as races, this made it basically unplayable without a direct walk through to know where to go and what to do.
This mod is fully playable and it is possible to 100% the game without a walk through. All of the translations as close to their original meanings as possible with the limited space allotted for a translation. There were about 4 lines of dialogue that didn't guide the player enough so their original meaning was altered.
ex. "Good job on winning" changed to "Go tell the mayor you won."
Features:
- All 1400 lines of dialogue translated into English as well as the arcade modes and menus.
- Dialogue that was broken in the base version of the game is restored and viewable!
- Unused dialogue that couldn't normally be seen by the player is now viewable.
- Texture edits mostly on menu graphics to change the images of Japanese words to images of English words.
There were 3 versions of this game released over its lifecycle, this patch has been tested to work on all of them. If there are any issues, report them please. |
