Gimmick Land is a role playing game for the Game Boy Color. The game was never released.

Translation Description

Gimmick Land for the GBC serves as the unreleased prototype to Tomato Adventure, an RPG developed by AlphaDream for the GBA. The game was fully finished and intended for release, but Nintendo asked AlphaDream to rework the contents of Gimmick Land and incorporate them into an upgraded experience on their latest Game Boy iteration. While Tomato Adventure would go on to see a Japanese release, Gimmick Land would never see any official release. Before it was leaked online as a part of the September 2020 "Nintendo Gigaleak", the only public documentation of the game that existed were two screenshots.

This is an unofficial English translation of Gimmick Land that includes a translated:

* Main Script
* Item and Gimmick names and descriptions while in battle
* Enemy names and dialogue in battle
* Location names on overworld map, and when entering a sub-area
* Certain Gimmick graphics

While this translation is currently labeled as "unfinished", a very large majority of it has been translated. Everything that provides essential context to beating the main game has been translated. While there are some parts that are not translated, if you have a basic understanding of how simple RPGs function, or if you have ever played Tomato Adventure, you should have no trouble figuring out what certain things do.
