Druid: Kyoufu no Tobira
Family Computer Disk System
Game Description

Translation Description
"Druid: Kyoufu no Tobira" is an old Action RPG, similar to the old arcade game, Gauntlet. You play the role of the druid Hasrinaxx who must fight the dark mage, Acamantor, and his army of demons.

In this game, you have the choice of three finite supplies of shots: Water, Fire, and Lightning. Also, you have other spells as well: Silence (briefly turns you invisible) and Chaos (destroy all enemies on screen. These will be needed when destroying the demon statues in-game.)

This game, developed by Electralyte Software and published by Firebird in 1986, is available on several computers (Amstrad CPC, Atari 8-bit, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Tatun Einstein) and also to video game consoles in Japan (MSX2 and Famicom Disk System). Japan received this game on the FDS as "Druid: Kyoufu no Tobira" in 1988 by Jaleco. Also, this game has two sequels: "Druid II: Enlightenment" and "Warlock: The Avenger".

One word of advice, be sure to pick up the key in the first chest you come across. If you don't, you won't be able to get past the second level and be forced to start over.
