Flashback: The Quest for Identity is an action platformer game for the Sega Genesis.

Translation Description

This patch translates Flashback for Mega Drive / Genesis from English to Spanish. It needs to be applied to the version of the ROM that includes 2 languages: English and French. It will translate all the English texts of the game to Spanish. It also adds all the special symbols from Spanish language, like "ñ", accented letters, and opening question and exclamation marks. The checksum of the resulting translated ROM has been fixed. Text pointers have been edited when necessary, even for inventory.

This patch needs to be applied to a ROM in .BIN format. If your Flashback ROM is in .SMD format, you can convert it to .BIN with applications such as UCON, UCON64 or SEGATOOL.

Made in 2012 (and reviewed months ago), this translation has been done from scratch by Rod Mérida, from Crackowia group. It's based on a previous version for SNES, made in 2002. Final minor corrections made by Vicks Dg, also from Crackowia, have been added.
