Translation Description
This is what happens when you let a newscaster like Shintaro Ito direct their own game.
America Daitōryō Senkyo lets you (finally) simulate the 1988 presidential election and beat Bush yourself, the dream of every child.
Get elected, and achieve the American Dream.

One can adjust their positions on issues and can use opinion polls and TV ads to help them.
States may use either proportional representation (PROP) or winner-take-all (WINX), and Super Tuesday is divided into three regions wherein one is handled at a time.
Researching the issues of 1988 is beneficial (e.g. STAR WARS).
If success proves difficult, try changing the following addresses to higher values.
Change address 0086 (your votes), 006E (days left), and 0069 and 0274 (money) for some help.

This translation is approximately 80% complete and has some mojibake and untranslated text.
