Mega Man X5 is an action platforming game for the PlayStation.
Mega Man X5 takes place in the XXII Century in a world where humans coexist with humanoid androids called “Reploids”. Daily life is constantly threatened by Reploids who become “Maverick” and engage in dangerous and deadly crimes. After the Mega Man X4 events, the Maverick leader Sigma was revived and sought to unlock the true power of the old Maverick Zero and destroy the Mega Man X hero in the process. To make things even worse, the Eurasia space colony was put on a collision course with the Earth and in 16 hours will reach its “destination.” It is up to X and Zero to prevent Sigma once more and save the planet from destruction.
