Phantasy Star is a role playing game for the Sega Master System, and the first in the Phantasy Star series. It's also one of the earliest JRPGs, and considered a pioneer in the genre. It was critically acclaimed for its scope, lush graphics, animations, 3D dungeons (a first for JRPGs), and for its blend of science fiction and fantasy elements.

| Translation Description |
Phantasy Star for SMS is one of the few games that hit Korea with official translation by Samsung. The translation had a solid quality, but for no reason Samsung changed names of characters, monsters or items. This patch brings back those to the names that match with later series along with font cleanup and fixing crappy title screen & staff roll.
This contains two IPS patches compatible with Korean and Japanese version. |
