Final Fantasy Origins

Game Description

This PS1 compilation includes Final Fantasy 1 and 2. Outside of Japan this was not only the first official appearance of FF2 at all, but also one of the favorite ports of FF1. As opposed to the other compilations of previous titles, Origins is more of a full remake than a port with some added FMVs.

Both titles were given a full graphical enhancement, new audio, minor gameplay enhancements such as auto-targeting and an easy mode, a full script rewrite (in 2's case, a localization), and a few other goodies like FMVs and a gallery.

Though not all bugs are fixed Origins doesn't stray as far from the originals as later editions (GBA titles and onward of FF1 for example would switch to an MP based magic system and leave the normal difficulty behind), making for fan favorites among many.

Translation Description

Complete Spanish translation for PSX game Final Fantasy II (FF Origins).

The patch work with all three versions of the game:
- PAL-EURO, from Square Soft
- NTSC-USA, from Square Soft
- NTSC-USA, from Square Enix
It also works on any game already patched.
