| Translation Description |
This is the final version of the Spanish translation/adaptation patch for Resident Evil 2, Sega Dreamcast's version. As some might not know, the Dreamcast version only arrived with English/French languages.
The patch translates all the texts found in the game into Spanish. It started as a direct port of the official translation, but over the past year it has been modified, upgraded and rewritten so it's more clear to understand, removing unneeded stuff and fixing several mistranslations. Now it's a part straight port, part retranslation.
In order to play this patch, you need the PAL Version of the game. The patcher will only admit a GDi copy, it won't allow any releases at all.
Please notice that you will need to select the Spanish language in the Options menu (Or have the BIOS set up at French) in order to see the game in Spanish.
Version 1.5C adds GDI support to the output formats, making the translation compatible with the Demul emulator and with the GDEMU device. Version 1.5D fixes a small issue when patching to MDS format. |
