NeoRHDN - Translations - Translation Information

Rhythm Tengoku
Game Boy Advance
Game Description
Well, Before get into the game. Let's take a look a bit of history first. This is the first game in the Rhythm Heaven series that never made outside of Japan for obvious reason; A Game Boy Advance game released in 2006! Despite this, It was sold very well in Japan and became a long-run series, Received 3 sequels which all of them DID get released outside of Japan. (it might be due to the fact that it was made by WarioWare developers and the series' producer and main composer; Tsunku♂ is also a well-known music composer in Japan)

As the name suggested, It's a Rhythm-Based game. But not an usual Rhythm-Based game. For anyone who've played any game in the series will know how this one is different from the other. If you don't, You're not going to press a button shown on screen to beat in this game. Instead you'll have to play various minigames using the Rhythm you hear to move on! I'm saying this because a majority of times your screen will be corrupted so you can't see. And if you good enough, You don't even need to see the screen to play it. Just listening the Rhythm!

Sure, You can get Rhythm Heaven Megamix (Called Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+ in Japan) to play most (if not, all) of minigames appeared in this one. But it's probably worth to try this one. Because this is where the series started it all. On a side note, You might get a few WarioWare vibe in this game due to the fact that they reused GBA WarioWare game engine for this.
Translation Description
Rhythm Tengoku is a quirky rhythm game for the GBA. It came out in Japan in 2006, but never made it anywhere else. Its 2 sequels (Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Heaven Fever) have been translated and released overseas, but Tengoku never was.

Probably because of how late Tengoku came out (almost 2 years after the DS) and how odd it was, Nintendo declined to translate it. The fan-translation for the game is called "Rhythm Heaven Silver."

Release Beta 10a as of December 2013 is a complete text translation with a great deal of graphics translated (at least 80%) and some bugfixes. New releases culminating in Beta 13a appeared in 2019, including a translated debug menu and a few name changes consistent with Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
