Game Description

Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys is an action role playing game for the Turbografx-CD.

Contrary to "Ys IV: Mask of the Sun" on the Super Famicom, "The Dawn of Ys" is Hudson Soft's PC Engine CD-ROM² interpretation of a fourth Ys game.
Despite sharing basic story elements with Tonkin House's "Mask of the Sun", "Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys" is an entirely different game and is more similar with "Ys Book I & II" for the TurboGrafx-CD, in terms of gameplay and style.

Translation Description

This is an English dub patch for Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys on the TurboGrafx-CD. This patch only changes the Japanese voices of the original game into English. The text will remain the same.

It is recommended that you use this patch along side Nightwolve's in game text translation, in order to get the most out of the game.

The patch's size is 105MB, which cannot be hosted here on RHDN due to size limitations. The patch used to be hosted on Burnt Lasagna's project blog but it has since gone offline. Instead, you can get the patch from this Archive.org link.
