NeoRHDN - Translations - Translation Information

Konami Wai Wai World
Nintendo Entertainment System
Game Description
Konami Wai Wai World is an action game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game is a mashup of Konami game franchises and characters.

The main characters, Konami Man and Konami Lady, are original for the game, but make special appearances in other Konami games. The playable characters included are Goemon from the Goemon series, Simon from the Castlevania series, Moai from the Gradius series (not to be confused with Moai-kun, as that game was released 2 years after this one), Fuuma from Getsu Fuuma Den, Mikey from The Goonies, and Kong from King Kong 2.

Its gameplay is more akin to Castlevania in terms of platforming. It also has a vertical shooting stage featuring TwinBee and Gradius.
Translation Description
The one thing that really bugs me about this patch is that the whole reason for it is because Dylan thought that Demi's translation was inaccurate, and he decided to do something about it. Yet, Vic Viper and Twinbee have been changed to Dylan and Tina. Wha?

Aside from that, and various abbreviations/spelling errors, everything is very well done, and much more verbose than the old Demiforce translation. A lot more things actually make sense, and stuff was added to explain things a little more. The escape message is not translated and the credits don't show up correctly, though.
