Oh I'd believe it. Every time I get a good hand on draw I'm immediately suspicious because it feels like I may as well assume someone has something ten times better or is always one step ahead.



Example from last night. My hand after turn 1. Green Dragon was double because of dora. Still lost over a lesser hand.

Dragon Quest 3's remake seems to be the current hot topic of the weekend. I started playing it a bit. Not too terribly sure how far I'll get in the time I got before my break, though.

Still reminding people that, even after a year has passed, they still haven't played this.

Hell of a way to end a double overtime. Or 'South 2 in an East Only', I suppose.

This was suggested from the general requests thread. I'm just going through and making sure that this thread is put together. If it picks up steam, I'll consider putting in some requests, depending on if they're acceptable or not. I know most translations, in general, can be anywhere from a few months or time to several years depending on the individual and time handy.

Nevertheless, there are a few things I haven't seen translated that I wouldn't mind and some things that...well, that's better left for when it comes time to make a suggestion.

I didn't come into it with lofty expectations.

When I finished, I wanted to play 2. Badly.

While there isn't a way to do that on the forums that I'm aware of, you do have a #site-feed section on Discord that is bot-reported and keeps up with new posts in any given thread, new or otherwise.

Hikaru no Go 2 on the GBA:



You can't even find a full battle of this on YouTube so I made a video with two.

The original has an unfinished translation. It's good enough but, like other, both titles suffer from CPU issues of it taking forever for the GBA to do the job for computation of moves. 2 is a little bit better in terms of what's available to you, however, and pretty much no one has given it a shot. The only thing I've found that people have attempted this project at all is from a random post on the Internet from eight years ago. It might really be too niche to see a translation but it's one I'd like to see nonetheless.

Kishin Douji Zenki 3 - Tenchi Meidou:



Above video is mine. Only shows off the cinematic battle aspect, though. It does not show off the board game it revolves around.

Tenchi Meidou is a departure from the other games in the trilogy on the Super Famicom...somewhat. 2 gets close with its cinematic battling. 3 cleans it up a bit and puts it in a board game perspective and the goal is to get all of the treasures on any given stage. A translation isn't really needed for this game for multiplayer (up to 4 players) but there IS a story mode that is left untouched and is something that has been sitting untranslated for a very long time. There was a fairly rabid fanbase for the game back during the zbattle era but very little has come of it at the time. There does appear to be some effort that was done back in 2017 but it barely exists at all. Definitely another one I'd like to see on translators bucket list.

I made Adept III in 4P on MS.

A wide variety of things, actually.

The GBA ROM with all of them, Mega Man Mania, comes out in 2025. This was the last one of the GBC batch before they released it.

They're applied in order too, so depending how everyone is cheating, turn order, and whether your cheat is physically possible considering the shuffle would be which ones get applied...

The reason why I mostly avoid multiplayer games as a rule is this exactly, lack of proper sportsmanship from most people.

Unfortunately, there's no real other way to get others to play and you're usually stuck with that as your only option. It being a very specific niche with the Western audience is the biggest problem.
