Well, since Romhacking.net has less attention, might as well define RPI here:

"RPI is a system that determines the Replayability factor of video games, it is meant to help players avoid MTX (Microtransactions) and Live Service games like Forza Horizon or Candy Crush.

RPI is called Replayability Index and has a few rules:

1. Creativity boosts the RPI hugely, so games like Chu Chu Rocket or RC Revenge or Marble Master or even Niche have higher RPI values.
2. Challenge also boosts RPI, within reason of course, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and Pokémon Theta Emerald EX exploits this nicely.
3. Live Services (Which restrict item access to Online only) is a penalty to RPI, and must be avoided, Forzathon is one easy example.
4. MTX also harms RPI because of locking content until you pay up or stalling games till you pay, Candy Crush is a advertised example.
5. Difficulty also affects RPI, if the games Difficulty is where it should be, then RPI is maximized, but too easy or too difficult games in relation to similar games hurts the RPI.
6. Expansions between 33% and 80% the size of the game with an appropriate price can boost RPI, but the company must be willing to do it.
7. DLC that is below 33% that is NOT free hurts RPI a bit, and blatantly hurts it seriously, like Forza typically does.
8. 0 is no Replayability, 25 is one year, 50 is 10 years, 75 is 25 years, 99 is 50-99 years and 100 is 100 years or longer, you can probably guess the years for values between these numbers as it is exponential as the RPI gets closer to 100.

With these rules in mind, I hope everybody uses the RPI system and it replaces the ESRB system in place currently (For suggesting games at least)."

Of course these rules are speculative

One major thing: ESRB will still rate games for audiences, but RPI will help players save money. If you got anything to add, just respond below!

Have you seen https://www.darkpattern.games/? It's not quite the same thing but does specifically try to help people find games that don't have things like microtransactions. I feel like specifically highlighting different aspects and how they apply to the game helps more than just a numerical rating.

Check out my site! It's got a bunch of projects I've worked on, including homebrew and a virtual world about collaborative map building that's RP focused.

Well, the Numerical rating is only intended to determine the Replayability in years, 25 is only 1 year of replayability, but the goal is 100 RPI, which is 100 or more years of replayability.

But you could be right. But then again, replayability is what more romhackers are leaning towards. SHOCKSLAYER and other Pokemon Romhackers tend to improve replayability! Hence RPI being quite necessary for future Romhacks so people can enjoy the games at whatever pace suits them best and get the most of a good game without the aforementioned issues.
