Tenchu Camera & Perks hack
ASM by Dacaskos
Using the right analog stick, switch between 3 camera modes/distances and alternate between 9 directions relative to where the character is facing with perks that make the game a little bit less tanky
-Pressing R3 switches between camera modes/distances:
Tweaked (similar to the default distance but slightly raised); Far (zoomed out); Default (unmodded standard).
-Moving the analog stick Left/Right cycles through 9 camera positions clockwise/counterclockwise (Neutral, East, South, West, North, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, Northwest).
The camera position is always relative/dependent on the direction the character is facing (not free), meaning it adjusts to follow the character in the direction they are looking. Use this to your advantage to plan attacks and check your surroundings.
-You can also reset the distance instantly back to "Neutral" by pressing L3.
-When the camera is in "Default" mode, no changes will be made (the camera will function exactly as it does in the unmodded game).
-Some tweaks to camera behavior (only in Tweaked/Far modes):
Walking uphill will slightly raise the camera to show what's ahead (works well on rooftops, but prefer using the default camera on ramps).
The camera tilts/angles slightly downward during jumps/aerial actions.
Some perks have been added to make the game less "tanky":
-Characters turn faster (improves mobility)
-Attacks during combat have increased tracking (the character turns to the target more easily).
-The "bumping" into walls when jumping has been removed
-Wall collision is less "sticky" (Changing direction while running against a wall is possible).
-*optional*Most "landing" animations have been shortened or sometimes canceled (for quicker ninja action!)
-The height of front flips and wall flips has been slightly increased
-Holding R1 while climbing a ledge makes the character flip and land on their feet
-Holding R1 while falling to the ground after being hit in the air makes the character perform a safefall/roll
-Enemies tend to stay in "suspicious" (purple alert) state for a shorter time
-To compensate the draw distance, the Yellow Warning triggering while standing range has been slightly reduced, often enough to stand while the enemy is visible on the horizon (using the default camera as a distance reference)
Instructions:
Apply the desired patch (with or without quicker landing) on the "BIN" file of your USA REV 1/1.1 Tenchu copy/image with any software that applies xdelta patches
I recommend "Delta Patcher"
