Description |
The original is not an easy game by itself, and yet, for some players it is. So, in addition to the standard NORMAL mode the hack gives you an ability to try either easier or harder modes! There is a change in mechanics, too: the character will suffer from fatigue if you use too many turbo-attacks!
- On HARD difficulty the incoming damage is doubled, the use of turbo-attack is limited to 12-15 consecutive punches (depending on the emulator's "autofire" settings), 6-7 punches using brass knuckles, 1 kick or jump-kick. But if you use normal attack with proper timing, there will be no penalties at all (the idea is that you can no longer become invincible by holding both turbo-buttons - the jump-kick has to be done with precise timing; and defeating enemies in a safest way with a turbo-kick won't work either).
- On NORMAL difficulty barehanded turbo-punches are unlimited, with knuckles it'll be 12-15 punches, and it's only 3 turbo-kicks or turbo-jump-kicks.
- On EASY "turbo" is unlimited, player receives halved damage.
- Player's punch and kick hitboxes and the graphics of the "punch" were changed to make their distance more different in visual and actual aspects. The "kick" hitboxes are no longer allow you to hit, when you're too close to the enemy. On the other hand, the "uraken" and heavy rifle can now be used on extremely short distances;
- Damage of the backward "uraken" punch (and the hit with a heavy rifle) is increased and became higher than that of a brass knuckles.
- Damage of the "jump-kick" is increased, but the distance is shorter;
- Changed the hitbox of enemies' jumping knife attack (it was too long);
- Changed attack hitboxes of boos#3, #4 and the last boss;
- To unlock a "Continue" option you have to reach the first "Hi-Score" (20000). After that the cursor will always be at "Continue" line by default after GameOver. |
