These patches fix the Moria password glitch for J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings - Volume 1 (SNES).
When the player reaches the mines of Moria, the passwords the game generates are valid, but a bug in the password validation code results in the code failing. This means one would have to use an older password from before Moria or restart the game entirely; either way, this would be incredibly frustrating. ClAndrew implemented a bugfix via SNES Pro Action Replay codes. These patches mimic his work and implements it as ROM patches for those wishing to flash the fix to a physical cartridge. Shoutouts to him for his efforts reverse engineering that section of the game and implementing a fix! Supported are the headerless USA, Europe, and German ROMs listed below and comes in both IPS and BPS formats. |
