Hack of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Description

This is a mod that expands on the game in a way that gives the player new challenges, while also
giving him the tools to overcome said obstacles. Some dungeons can be accessed in
a different order, and it is actually necessary to leave a dungeon, get an item, then come back to finish it. The whole game, dungeons and overworld, becomes a big puzzle box. That's why knowledge of the base game is certainly a plus, but for the unexperienced, trial and error with the tools in hand is also key to advancing in some puzzles.

- So what this 'mod' pretty much has is (a lot) of hex editing and
edits to maps with SceneNavi. There is not anything involved
with custom maps or custom music or none of that stuff.
it is possible to beat it without any cheats.

features:
- changes to cutscenes being either shortened or cut for pacing
- different routes
- changed locations of items (but the knowledge of regular item's placement may be useful)
- changed mechanics (jump and slash, animations)

Patch the ocarina debug rom. Any debug rom should work.
