Sonic Spinball - Slightly Better Edition

Hack of Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball

Description

Sonic Spinball was a decent enough game held back by a couple of issues.
One of those being the difficulty. These patches are intended to provide
a more forgiving experience for the players, while also keeping most of
the game's natural feel intact. You'll find the following changes within:

-15,000,000 points to get an extra life (Was originally 20,000,000 points)

-The player starts with 5 lives instead of 3. Not too little or too much.

-The timer in which the final boss is vulnerable has now been doubled.

-Other miscellaneous changes. (Pipes in 3rd boss are easier to break)

There are two different patches for each region. The first of which has
Sonic's original gravity and physics (14392). The other increases this
value slightly (14413), which makes Sonic feel slightly less "floaty" as
well as decrease the amount of time Sonic reaches his maximum velocity.
In some cases this can increase direct player control of his momentum,
and in other cases he'll bounce around faster and a bit more chaotically.
You can use either patch depending on your preference. All other changes
to reduce the overall difficulty will remain the same regardless of patch that you choose.
