Final Fantasy Twelve Jobs Balance is a Hack made for Final Fantasy I, based on the FF Rebalanced Hack also available on RomHacking.net
This hack aims to fix most of the flaws of the original while also adding 12 different jobs to use from the start. Story is intact aside of Bahamut Event as he doesn't exist now.
Details below:
- Instead of start choosing from 6 Jobs and upgrade them with Bahamut's event, now you have 12 Permanent Jobs to pick.
- 15-Puzzle now rewards you with 250 Gil instead of 100 Gil.
- Axe's and Staff's were removed to add Magic Orb's and Flail/Whip's.
- New Magic Orbs and Magic Equip available in Lefein, along with other missing Stores (INN, CHURCH, ITEM STORE)
- Class Sprites ripped from FF2-3 with fixes + original art for Sorcerer & Necromancer, including new color Palette's.
- All Towns now have a representative color shown on the Message Box and over every Roof's tiles.
- All Bosses & Sub-Bosses have increased HP (Up to 250% against original values) and new Spell's for many of them.
- Now the Battle System is a soft ATB (like FF4) based on AGILITY and a random start value. This allows the Characters to do way less Innefective Hits.
- Some Chest were added to different locations in-game (Zarda's Cave and Marsh Cave Deepest Room by example)
- Minor changes to some NPC Sprites (Garland, Fairy, Lefein people, King, etc.)
- All Weapon / Magic Sprites were redesigned to look better, or for most cases, fitting the intended Spells.
- Useless spells removed to bring Dark Arts and Blue Magic.
- All jobs have access to Magic, allowing you to play without Full-Magic Users.
- And even more!
V1.2 Change Log:
Fixed a bug with a certain enemy group that frozes the game.
Fixed some off-tiles in most Towns.
Updated prices for some Weapons and Armors, mostly small adjustments.
Modified 5 spells, to make sure everything works as intended.
Buffed Necromancer Job to allow him/her use more spells. Check the new Read Me in the files.
Really, is a lot of changes that drastically modify the strategies and gameplay. Use this version, not the older ones. |
