NeoRHDN - Hacks - Hack Information

Pokémon Slightly Better Crystal
Hack of Pokémon: Crystal Version
Description
Slightly Better aims to make small changes that improve the game while staying true to its original vision. Save files should remain compatible with the vanilla game, too.

Restored stuff:

* Celebi event (after beating elite 4)

* PokeCom Center in Goldenrod

* Original JP trainer sprites (only 5 of them are slightly different)

* Sonic Boom animation

QoL:

* Kurt makes balls instantly

* Artificial save delay removed

* Reusable TMs

* See TM's name when picking one up

Fixes:

* A few AI fixes, so enemy AI is slightly smarter in certain situations

* Multiple Pokéballs fixed to do what they're actually supposed to do

* Dragon Fang and Dragon Scale mixup fixed

* Fix some status effects not affecting catch rate like they should

* Rocket Team music now plays when fighting rocket scientists and leaders

Balance:

* Removed badge stat boosts; this makes the game slightly more challenging

Additions:

* Now every Pokémon has its own colored icon (preview with credits: https://github.com/pret/pokecrystal/wiki/screenshots/minidex.gif )

Most of these changes are implemented pretty much verbatim from the great wiki at https://github.com/pret/pokecrystal
