NeoRHDN - Hacks - Hack Information

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - Veemon in Julius Mode
Hack of Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Description
This ROM hack edits the games JULIUS MODE to include Veemon from Digimon, all Julius sprites and animations have been replaced with Veemon using what could be found from various game sprites, hitboxes have been amended to match the new size of the character, and the signature Vampire Killer whip has been replaced with a Kaiser Knuckle-esque attack more befitting of Veemon.

Also replaced the subweapons to better match the character, some have simply received amended colours or sprites, while others have been replaced with other abilities you would find in a Soma playthrough. On top of this both the sound effects for the character have been amended as well as dialogue text rewritten (kinda cringey though... apologies.)

As this is a first attempt at a hack, there are some minor graphical issues, such as the breath effect in the first area still coming from where Julius' head usually would be, and the awfully Veemon-coloured Julius in the end screen.

Updated as originally the intended mode to play was not unlocked.
