NeoRHDN - Hacks - Hack Information

All Multiplayer Maps Early
Hack of LEGO Battles
Description
UPDATE: THERE IS A SHOP IN-GAME TO BUY THESE MAPS. THIS HACK IS STAYING UP SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO BOTHER GRINDING FOR BLUE STUDS TO GET THEM.

There are 19 multiplayer/freeplay maps in LEGO Battles. However, in the ROM, one can find 30 of these maps. This patch simply restores the other 11. This was done in what the author considers a very amusing way. The game only shows maps with certain IDs, but it does not seem to care if multiple maps have the same ID. So, by giving the unused maps IDs of used maps, they are also made visible and selectable.

This patch is, as per usual, incompatible with the other ones. However, no secondary path is provided in this archive, because a forthcoming separate RHDN page will house an always-updated All-in-One patch. This should make everything much easier.

This patch was only possible due to being able to decompress Entities.ebp. As such, even more thanks than usual ought be given to Garhoogin, creator of the utility NitroPaint (https://github.com/Garhoogin/NitroPaint), who took the time to reverse engineer this game's unique compression format.

Thanks too to the creators of CrystalTile2 and HxD.
