Have you ever thought that vanilla ALTTP was too easy? With this patch you will be removing multiple items that were holding you back and many areas that served no real useful purpose are now gone as well. Healing items will be more rare and your skills will be tested. Here's a quick list of changes. The right side of death mountain has been closed off entirely, it's items are lost to you. The invisibility cape is removed entirely, it was a crutch. The blue staff is gone, it was largely useless. The mushroom, magic powder,1/2 magic upgrade, and witch hut are now all gone. A small area has replaced the race obstacle course, you may find some useful things there later in the game. You can actually access misery mire on foot, though it serves little purpose. The flute and ice rod will be accessible after the blind boss dungeon, as will the third sword upgrade. You cannot upgrade your sword past level three. Any and all upgrade fairies and healing fairies have all been removed entirely. Most small fairies are removed though a very small amount still remain. That mainly sums up all the changes and features in this rom hack, if people enjoy it and there's a demand. Expect a hardcore version to pop up that will nuke the game when you die.

Corrected a bug where the blacksmith frog would spawn, the tempered sword now appears inside the black smith shop in the dark world without the frog quest. |
