This is a basic patch that will increase the amount of Experience Points and Zenny (the currency of the game) gained by defeating monsters.
It works with both the original game, and with Ryusui's Retranslation, but if you're interested on using it with it, you need first to have an SRAM file with the initial check made correctly. Simple as running the game after applying the retranslation so it creates a save file after performing the check, and then patching the ROM with this.
This initial, simple patch became the basis for a much bigger project by the same author, that attempts to streamline and improve the game in a number of areas to make it shine as he thought it deserves, also uploaded here:
